Nar Phu Valley Trekking is one of the restricted trekking area for Himalayan addicts is an unexplored Himalayan land in Annapurna region providing excellent adventure for trekkers. Nar Phu valley also as known as "the lost valley" of Annapurna region
The Nar Phu valley trek passes through the two remote villages Nar and Phu villages and also through dense forests, yaks, monasteries and the Kang la pass. Nar, phu village (gaon as locale name) has been opened for trekking only since 2003 for foreigners.
The trekkers to Nar Phu valley take the same trail as Annapurna circuit trek until Koto and again join at Manang. From Koto, the trekkers cross the Marshyangdi River and begins to Nar Phu valley trek, during this trek all the time the great views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna,Thorong peak, and Tilicho peak. Those who want to take the Annapurna circuit trek proceed further for Manang via passing through the Throngla pass 5416m otherwise turn back from Manang to Jagat from where they drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel (1365m of elevation).
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu, prepare for trek.
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu – Besishahar -Chamje (1130m, 8-9hrs drive).
Day 04:Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1920m), 6 hrs trek.
Day 05:Trek from Dharapani to Koto (2625m), 5hrs trek.
Day 06:Trek from Koto to Meta (3260m),7-8hrs trek.
Day 07:Trek from Meta to Phu Village (4050m) 7-8 trek.
Day 08:Excursion around Phu Village and Monastery.
Day 09: Trek from Phu Village to Nar Phedi or Gompa, 6-7hrs.
Day 10:Trek from Nar Phedi to Nar Village (4150 m),7-8 hrs.
Day 11:Acclimatization and Explore day Nar Village.
Day 12:Trek from Nar - Kang La Pass (5,322M / 17,460FT) -Ngawal (3685m),9-10 hrs.
Day 13:Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3550m), 4-5 hr.
Day 14:Trek from Manang village to Yak Kharka (4020m),5-6hrs trek .
Day 15: Trek from Yak Kharka to ThorongPhedi (4,450) - 5 hrs.
Day 16: Trek from Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 meters) via Thorung La pass (5,416 m),8-9 hrs trek .
Day 17: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2780 m) ,6-7 hrs trek.
Day 18: early in the morning fly back to Pokhara and overnight at Pokhara hotel free day in the afternoon and enjoy walking around the lake.
Day 19: fly back to Kathmandu and leisure day in Kathmandu and shopping day.
Day 20: Departure to the Kathmandu airport and fly back to home.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu, prepare for trek.
After breakfast we take to the Kathmandu valley sightseeing to Boudhanath stupa (one of the largest stupa in the world), Pashupatinath temple (one of the most popular Hindu’s temple), Soyambunath Temple and Patan Durbar squire. Overnight at Hotel,
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu – Besishahar -Chamje (1130 m, 8-9 hrs drive).
Early morning drive proceed from Kathmandu to Jagat or Syange via Besishahar. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1920m), 6 hrs trek.
First day treks begins with the rocky trail following the Marsyandi River gradually uphill to the Chamche village and crossing the marshyangdi river reach at first village of Manang district, Tal village at 1675m..From tall the trails crossing a wide, flat valley to continues further next village to Dharapani. Overnight at Guest house,
Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Koto (2625 m), 5 hrs trek.
After breakfast trek start gradually ascending to Bagarchhap and great view of Annapurna second and see beautiful views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m),BhudhaHimaland many other snowcapped peaks. The trail ascending continue through beautiful pine forest to reach at Thanchok village at 2630m and after this village continue flat to walk to reach at Koto village. Overnight at guest house..
Day 06: Trek from Koto to Meta (3260 m),7-8 hrs trek.
Today Nar Phu valley treks begins and from Koto entry to the restricted area of Narphu valley with register your special permit and continue walk through following the Nar Khola and Greenland forest .The trail is adventurous with rocky trail and long walk to reach at Meta. Between Koto and Meta there is not any tea house so we take pack lunch to have picnic on the way. Overnight at guest house, at Met.
Day 07: Trek from Meta to Phu Village (4050m) 7-8 trek.
TreksPhu village begins along the way through desert and typical locale village of Chyakhu and Kyang village where people don't live whole months. The trail is gradual up and downhill to phureach at village with beautiful view of Annapurna. Today also you will get pack lunch during the day time. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 08: Excursion around Phu Village and Monastery.
Today is acclimatization day at Phu village, explore the popular TashiGompa and around the villages. Overnight same place.
Day 09: Trek from Phu Village to Nar Phedi or Gompa, 6-7hrs.
Today we hike to Nar Phedi. It takes 5-6 hours walking. Stay overnight at Monastery.
Day 10: Trek from Nar Phedi to Nar Village (4150m),7-8hrs.
From Nar Phedi to Nar village the trek climb up until you reach and rest of the day explore Nar village then stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 11: Acclimatization and Explore day Nar Village.
Next day will be longer and high elevation pass of Khang la pass so you need res and acclimatization day at Nar village. Visit 4 monasteries of Nar Village. Overnight at same Lodge.
Day 12: Trek from Nar - Kang La Pass(5,322M )-Ngawal,9-10hrs.
Today is adventurous and long day so wake up an early in the morning and begins toahead to Kang La pass. From pass you will see massif of Annapurna region, and trek all the way down to reach at Ngawal 9-10 trek and overnight at Guest house.
Day 13: Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3550m), 4-5hr.
Today is easy and short day from Ngawal to Manang through the trail is down and flat valley passing through the Baraga village and reach to Manang. During the afternoon explore around Manang villageovernight at lodge.
Day 14:>Trek from Manang village to Yak Kharka (4020m),5-6hrs trek.
From Manang the trail start gently uphill climb to Yak Kharka via TengkiManang through the beautiful views will be always there of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Tilicho,Thorong peak,Chulu peak etc. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 15: Trek from Yak Kharka to ThorongPhedi (4,450) - 4hrs.
The trail gradually flat and sometimes little ascent and decent to reach at Throng la Phedi or you can still further up to until High camp. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 16: Trek from Phedi to Muktinath (3,800meters) via Thorung La pass (5,416m),8-9hrs trek.
Today is a long and hard day so sunrise at 4 am to reach the pass by 9-10am because of weather conditions (strong winds), which might greatly affect the journey, particularly at the Thorung La Pass (5,416m). We climb steeply on a regular route which is quite easy to follow. However, some problems may arise due to the altitude and snow. It often causes terrible problems to cross the pass if it is covered by heavy snow. About four hours climb up to the pass marked by the chortens and prayer flags will reward us with stunning views from the top of the pass. All the way down about four hours of walking will take us to the holy town of Muktinath and stay here today. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Day 17: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2780m) ,6-7hrs trek.
we trek all the way down to the Eklebatti via jarkot and kagabeni village or you can drive directly from Muktinath to Jomsom.
Day 18: early in the morning fly back to Pokhara and overnight at PokharaHoel, free day in the afternoon and enjoy walking around the lake.
Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu and leisure day in Kathmandu.
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire, Shopping and leisure day in Kathmandu, final culture dinner,
Day 20: Departure to the Kathmandu airport and fly back to home.
Drive to Kathmandu airport and fly back to back to destination.
